Call for Entries

Attention! Shaklee Idol Call for Entries.

Have you ever wanted to perform live in front of thousands of people? Do you dream of becoming an overnight sensation? Now is your chance!

Shaklee Idol is back and it's bigger than ever for the 2009 Shaklee Global Conference in St. Louis, Missouri!

Seven acts will be selected to perform on the main stage in St. Louis on Saturday night August 8th in conjunction with the evening Recognition Event. Want to perform? Here's all the information you need to submit an audition DVD.

Shaklee Idol is open to individual and group acts in any category; vocal, dance, instrumental, novelty, magic etc. (Sorry no bands due to the set up time required). All acts must submit an audition DVD of the EXACT MATERIAL you wish to perform on stage. All acts should be no more than FOUR MINUTES in length.

All acts selected to perform on Saturday night will receive a special gift from Shaklee and on-stage recognition with your fellow Shaklee idols.

Entries must be received in Shaklee's Pleasanton Office no later than June 30, 2009.

The fine print:

• All entries become the property of Shaklee and cannot be returned.


• Shaklee reserves the right to shorten acts for time or content and make final decisions regarding costuming of performers.


• All acts selected to perform must make themselves available for rehearsal on Friday August 7th or Saturday August 8th at a time to be determined at a later date.


• A maximum of five microphones or direct boxes can be provided to act onstage.


• Performers may use pre-recorded music without vocal tracks or play their own music.


• At least one person in each act must be a Shaklee Distributor in good standing or the minor child of a Shaklee Distributor in good standing.


• All acts selected to perform will be notified no later than July 6, 2009.


• Only those acts selected to perform will be notified by Shaklee. If you are not notified of selection, please assume that your act did not make the cut this year.

The Very Last Drop

How do you get the last drop from a bottle of Vivix? We all know that not one single drop should be wasted and we’ve heard from the Field about many creative ways to get that last terrific drop from the bottle. Now is your chance to let the world know how you do it. Grab your camcorder and record a quick clip (under 15 seconds) of you or a loved one extracting that last critical drop. We’ll put all the clips together for a fun and entertaining video segment to be shown at the Shaklee Global Conference in August.

Do you have a personalized Shaklee themed license plate on your car or RV? Do you have a boat with a Shaklee themed name or a creative Shaklee advertisement on your car? If so, we want to see it!

Take a quick photo of the special Shaklee logo item you have and send it via email to Shaklee for possible inclusion in a terrific photo montage to be shown at this year’s Global Conference in St. Louis. Photos should be of good quality and sent in one of the following formats; JPEG, TIFF or GIF. Email your photos along with your name, your Shaklee rank and a brief explanation of the photo to: conventions@shaklee.com. Please place the words “Shaklee on the Move?in the subject line of the email.
