TRAVEL TIPS

What to Pack
The average daily high temperature in St. Louis in August is approximately 80 degrees, while the average low temperature is 63 degrees. However the range for actual temperatures may be even greater.  Be sure to have light, breathable fabrics for during the day, but also carry a sweater or lightweight jacket for the air-conditioned meeting rooms.  Dressing in layers works best in the evening, to be prepared for temperature drops in the late afternoon/early evening hours.

  • A spare pair of glasses or contact lenses, or a copy of your prescription.
  • Prescription medications.  Be sure to bring enough to last your entire trip, or prescription re-fill orders.  Keep prescription medicine in hand-carried items in the event you experience a delay in getting your checked bags.

Travel Safety

While St. Louis has one of the nation's lowest crime rates for major metro areas we should always employ the same safety precautions we would if we were traveling to any large city.
